Roscoe Harris Crew 612
We finally got a photo of the Roscoe Harris Crew 612. They were one of the fourteen crews lost on that fatal Politz mission, 20 June 44, 7 KIA, 3 POW.
We got the photo from Albert Ferreira of Sacramento, California. Al is not related to anyone in the crew nor the 492nd. He found this photo a few years ago while browsing in an antique store. He liked it so he bought it. But for years he had no idea what happened to these brave men until recently when he found our website.
Someday the family members of this crew will find us and, thanks to Al, will be able to see their personal heroes.
